Southwest Tuna Salad is a flavorful take on the classic tuna salad recipe. It is full of flavor and so easy to make!

Ingredients
  

  • 5 oz Tuna
  • 1 Red Pepper diced
  • 1 Orange or Yellow Pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup Green Onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice concentrated
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Drain Tuna and place in a medium-sized bowl
  • Add the diced red pepper, orange pepper, and green onions to the bowl
  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and chipotle chili powder (optional) and stir until combined
  • Add the mayonnaise mixture to the tuna and veggies and stir until well combined

Notes

  • Add the chipotle chili powder if you want a spicier tuna salad.
  • Use avocado in place of mayonnaise for a healthy option.
