Southwest Tuna Salad is a flavorful take on the classic tuna salad recipe. It is full of flavor and so easy to make!

- 5 oz Tuna
- 1 Red Pepper diced
- 1 Orange or Yellow Pepper diced
- 1/2 cup Green Onion sliced
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice concentrated
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder optional
Drain Tuna and place in a medium-sized bowl
Add the diced red pepper, orange pepper, and green onions to the bowl
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and chipotle chili powder (optional) and stir until combined
Add the mayonnaise mixture to the tuna and veggies and stir until well combined
- Add the chipotle chili powder if you want a spicier tuna salad.
- Use avocado in place of mayonnaise for a healthy option.
