This refreshing Non-Alcoholic Berry Margarita Smoothie is easy to put together and full of delicious ingredients. In the summertime, I love strawberry margaritas and smoothies full of fresh fruit! But, since I am currently pregnant, no margaritas for me. I decided to combine my two favorite summer treats without the alcohol to create a sweet and sour smoothie filled with yummy fruit, healthy spinach, filling Greek yogurt, and margarita mix that provides that margarita flavor.

Steps
First, gather up the ingredients. Rinse your strawberries and blackberries. Remove the stems from the strawberries and slice them in half to make them blend up quicker.

Place all the ingredients in your blender. It’s best to layer your smoothie ingredients for a smoother blend. Pour in the margarita mix first, then add the spinach, next add the Greek yogurt and berries, and finally, add the ice on top. Of course, I didn’t follow my own advice, but close enough… Blend the mixture together until smooth.

I have this Ninja blender. I’m sure a more expensive and high-powered blender would do an even better job, but my Ninja blender does a good enough job for simple smoothies.

Pour your smoothie into glasses, add a straw, and enjoy your delicious Non-Alcoholic Berry Margarita Smoothie!
Tips
- You can use frozen berries instead of fresh in place of the ice. You may need to add more liquid to get your desired consistency.
- To make this an alcoholic margarita smoothie, feel free to add tequila during the blending process.
- The margarita mix adds plenty of sweetness to the smoothie, but if you need more, add some agave syrup, honey, or simple syrup to sweeten it to your liking.
- If you want this to be less sweet, you can use fresh squeezed lime juice instead of the margarita mix.
